I had to squeeze one final book into my summer reading and this new indie release fit the bill!
This is the third book by Abigail Nadine and I love seeing how her writing has progressed from her first novel. This book truly read like she’s stepping into her writing voice and I can’t wait to see what has in store for readers next! The story felt real and was riddled with imperfect characters striving to do their best.
While this is book two in the Hearts of Maple Lake series, I absolutely think it can be read as a stand alone. However, readers will get more depth and character development from reading book one, Meeting Me, Loving You, first!
