My FAVORITE fantasy series!!!
What a series. I can’t really put my review into words for this one. The conclusion was epic and emotional. There was redemption and forgiveness alongside deeper deception and lies.
The clear good v. evil and biblical allegory throughout the entire series was phenomenal and became more and more evident as the books progressed. It’s always bitter sweet as a reader to experience the final culmination of an epic series such as this.
A top read of my year and one I’ll be recommending for a long time. I can’t wait to read the Of Blood and Bone trilogy to see what else Gwynne has in store for the future of the Banished Lands.
