This one surprised me ✨

How honest can I be? This is my website so I’m just going to shoot you straight, when the publisher reached out asking if I could feature this book I had zero plans to read it (they did ask for a feature, not a review, after all). However, the millennial target audience paired with that niggling “what if” question in the back of my head piqued my interest enough to give this a go.

I am NOT a women’s fiction reader and didn’t think this title would be for me, but gosh I’m so happy I was wrong, it just hit on all the things. As someone who has had lots of defining moments in life and different choices/paths I could’ve taken, this book felt like a warm hug of reassurance.

Like I said, this title is targeted at millennials, and wrestles with topics like aging and life regrets. I was completely surprised by how much I loved this book. Its filled with some gold nuggets of wisdom, I teared up multiple times and the author had some great threads and quotes throughout the narrative. This is my first book by Stephanie Mack, but will absolutely not be my last.

If you like titles like, The Magic of Lemon Drop Pie by Rachel Linden, or The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, look no further for your next read! Twenty Something Else is a great read anytime of the year and one I’ll be recommending frequently. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a great job, so I recommend reading it in any format!
