My first book by Brandon Sanderson and I am loving his imagination and creativity. Tress was a fun whimsical quirky book with a side of chaos. I journeyed through this book via every medium, I mainly listened to the full cast audio but also switched back and forth between the kindle and physical book to keep myself grounded in the narrative.
I did not see the ending coming. I loved how this book feels high stakes but in the end it really isn’t. The characters develop and grow and take on hard responsibilities, and I’m already wanting more of Hoid (IYKYK). The cast of the full cast audio was amazing and fit the characters perfectly, highly recommend that audio if you can get your hands on it!
I loved the ending and the postscript. Sanderson very much has his own unique voice and I can’t wait to read more of his work.
