Three Act Tragedy by Agatha Christie (Hercule Poirot #10)

My Quick Takes:

- Language 🤐 mild, God’s name in vain
- Spice ❤️‍🔥 none
- Content 🤔 murder

I’m forever impressed by her plotting.

This one was an interesting narrative. Poirot is hardly in the plot or case until a little over halfway through the book. Up until that point, the main characters were trying to solve it themselves and continued to prove their theories wrong. Poirot swoops in to save the day at the ninth hour.

I wish there had been a tad more Poirot, although it was entertaining to see “normal” characters attempt to play detective for a bit. It made me feel a bit idiotic as that’s usually what I do while reading, feel like Christie was toying with the reader on this one. I listened to the audiobook narrated by Hugh Fraser.
