Super cute book, perfect for a summer read.
This book had all the things I love: Travel, art, and Rome! The different moving elements and plot points throughout were really fun. Before you think this is just another romcom, Andra Loy strikes a good balance of banter and puns with grief and heartache. Written in dual point of view, both main characters are quickly endeared to the reader. I personally love a dual point of view!
Add to all of this a large, loving Italian family and a touch of whimsy and you have The Roman Holiday Rule. Also, I am happy to share that the movie The Roman Holiday is brought up within the plot multiple times so the book is aptly named! I read this book in two sittings, it is really cute and I can’t wait to see what comes next from Andra Loy!
