The Big Four by Agatha Christie (Hercule Poirot #5)

My Quick Takes:
- 4.5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
- Genre 📚 murder mystery
- Language 🤐 mild, Gods name in vain
- Spice ❤️‍🔥 none
- Content 🤔 murder

In my top Agatha Christie’s, I loved this one.

Now that I’m a few books into the Hercule Poirot series, I want to get more specific with my star ratings. I have a good pool of Christie books to compare to each other now for more nuanced ratings.

I really loved the quicker pacing on this one. There was also a super fun reveal at the end that I didn’t see coming. The wool was pulled over Hasting’s eyes a few times, of which I took great delight.

The plot of The Big 4 was reminiscent to me of a short story in Poirot Investigates, “The Kidnapped Prime Minister”, both give the reader a great look into Poirot truly flexing his skills at a higher level.
