I finallyyyyy read it!

This book has been sitting on my TBR for a few years now (metaphorically and physically on my shelves) and finally grabbed it off the shelf to read. I keep saving it for fall every year and decided to get a jump start on fall reading. This is actually a fantastic “augtober” book. Its set in late august so the perfect book to span the summer and fall seasons.

I’m unsure if I’ll read the rest of the series. It was cute and cozy but doesn’t necessarily give the reader anything to look forward to in the second novel, I’d have to be in a specific mood to read it. The animals are fun and all their little jobs and friendships are super cute, much like the cover.

It’s a great palette cleanser. I’m currently reading War and Peace and needed a little brain break, this 200+ page book fit the bill. I probably would’ve enjoyed it more if I wasn’t waist deep in reading Agatha Christie books. Hard to read other mysteries when I’m currently reading one or two of hers every months.

This is absolutely a title I’d recommend. I started it in the physical book and finished it on audio and would recommend either!
