Is this a new favorite by Tracy Baack?!

I was totally caught off guard with this book. Not only is it vying for my favorite book by Tracy Baack (my fave is Love and Other Chances), but it’s the first dual pov romance book I’ve read where I was rooting for the male main character more than the female.

To steal Taylor Swift’s phrase, Adrian is a human exclamation mark, and he reminded me so much of one of my brother’s that’s the same way. Always happy and outgoing and making the best of every situation. I couldn’t not root for him to get the girl.

With Adrian’s bubbly persona comes great depth and character development. Both his character and the female main character, Sam, walk through hard things throughout the plot and I love the balance. It was fun to get quite a bit of cross over of the characters from the first book in this series, Home Safe.

If you’re a fan of Courtney Walsh I highly recommend Tracy Baack’s books. As someone who doesn’t necessarily read much in the romance genre, both of these authors are ones I’ll always read and love!

You know what’s super fun? I actually designed the covers for this series! So thankful that Tracy trusted me to do her cover design and it is always so special to see your design come to life!
