A fun palate cleansing book for readers entering the Hercule Poirot series.
Poirot investigates is a series of short stories that lends much to character development and backstory to the detective Hercule Poirot and his friend, Arthur Hastings. My favorite was the story set in Egypt, Poirot is a hoot.
I loved how manageable this was to read. Normally I’m not a fan of short stories, but of course Christie did it all justice. The length of each mystery gives readers little time to form an opinion of whodunnit and are left guessing throughout the narrative.
I listened to this on audio, the narrator Richard Armitage did a fabulous job. His recordings of Hercule Poirot are included with audible’s membership, so you don’t have to use a credit 👏🏼
