NICHOLE 👏🏼 VAN 👏🏼 does it every time!
This book is filled with yearning, heartache, pining, and character depth. This is truly a he falls first (my favorite) and I love how Van spins a story and offers opportunities for her characters to grow and develop. Every time I read one of her books I question why I haven’t started on her backlist yet, because I neeeeeeed to read more of her books.
If you’ve read her books before, you will absolutely love A Lass Beloved, and if you haven’t, this is book 2 in a stand alone series. It does and can stand alone, but book 1, A Tartan Love, I also gave 5 stars and loved so you should absolutely read it too!
